The world’s most famous superhero and comic book journalist faces the pressures and complexities of balancing work, justice, and parenting in modern society. The pilot pays homage to Action Comics #1 (Superman’s debut) by giving us the first live-action look at the hero’s original Golden Age costume. The iconic green car from the cover is also featured. Superman flies past the WB logo and transforms it into the DC Comics logo. Both logos are red and blue and are set on the Kent farm. Featured on DC Fandome (2020).
I’m disappointed they ended this show!
It was such a fun ride! I loved how it explored a lot of what made Clark Clark Clark! Of course, not as well as Smallville, but that show started when Clark was a teenager and this one was a father. Tyler Hoechlin did a fantastic job playing Superman! His acting was strong throughout the show and I felt for the character. I admired how he was with his family and bought into it.
He did great!
🙂 Now – this show had its problems, yes. When all this took place is a bit confusing for people who know the characters and for new fans, at least that’s what I think. I mean, who has Superman already fought at this point? It’s been established that he’s Superman – but we don’t know when that will happen. The supporting cast is also strong, in my opinion. I enjoyed watching Clark’s family grow and mature over the course of the show.
Lol, I know I didn’t act like his son!
Hahaha, if I did, I would have gotten a red herring or two. 😛 Whatever – it’s a show set in a new era, of course there are going to be some things that are a little off. The villains in this aren’t super funny, in my opinion. I liked some of their storylines, but for the most part it wasn’t for me. But it’s all good, I was there to see Superman being Superman. 🙂 I’m glad I watched it, but I felt like the show could have gone on for another season or two.
🙂 GIVE ME MORE!
That’s my only complaint about it. 😛
