The target audience should be parents
Story
A woman puts her career on hold to become a housewife, but soon her family life takes a surreal turn. instead, give it a wide theatrical release. Mentioned in Saturday Night Live: Gene Smart / Jelly Roll (2024). “Equestrian Carousel” performed by Alexander McCabe, screenplay by Alexander McCabe. Overall, the movie is good, but I expected it to be more dark and terrifying, rather than comedic.
This is a career-defining performance
Although I am not a parent now, I fully share the themes presented. If you have any questions about motherhood and female rage, this movie might be insightful for you. The script is also well written; some dialogues of the characters are very sharp. Mariel Heller is definitely a talented female director who can turn a seemingly impossible book into a successful film, Adams is undoubtedly amazing. It’s the best performance I’ve ever seen from her, and possibly the best performance I’ve seen this year.
She is wild, brave and funny
She really gets used to the role. The depth of her acting is evident in the intricate details of her facial expressions, which perfectly convey her anger, joy and pain. Adams embodies the role of mother with a credibility that resonates deeply, possibly stemming from her own real-life experience as a mother. This personal connection increases her productivity, making her both familiar and sincere. I can’t help but feel a strong connection between her image and my own mother, as if she reflects the essence of a mother’s love and sacrifice in a way that really speaks to me.
No, definitely not
This film is still controversial. I saw how some people rejected her performance, and many believe that Adams should not win or even be nominated for this strange role. For me, acting awards are always based on performances, not films. She is the vehicle of the film. She should definitely be nominated or even win.
Passion should not disappear
I hope that more people will understand and see my thoughts. Otherwise, Scoot McNairy is also fantastic, despite some flaws, the film is worth watching.
