CIA agent Joe tries to balance her personal and professional life as the spearhead of the CIA’s war on terror. Real military advisors helped to more authentically recreate weapons handling, house clearing, positioning, squad activities, etc. Quoted in “Premios Soberano” (2024). Waited 4 episodes to really be able to immerse myself in it for a longer period of time. The goal was to give myself a chance to appreciate the gift given to us by the numerous A-list actors who contributed to the creation of this work, which, by the way, is entertaining and well received by many despite the mixed reviews. Many viewers have been told stories from a similar point of view, but that point of view remains exciting here as you delve into a more confusing but well thought out plot with female leads, each of whom confidently captures our attention whenever they appear. Halfway through the series, we can’t yet say if that sense of urgency will remain at the current level as we learn more about what’s going on, but considering the subject matter covered, the budget, and the talent pool they were able to bring this to the screen, it’s going to be hard to miss the landing, especially given the solid foundation of the series.
