Abrams’ Lost almost had a completely different cast
Story
Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island. J.J. See which stars didn’t make it onto one of the most popular TV shows of all time. The character of Sawyer was originally supposed to be an older, dapper, suit-wearing city swindler from Buffalo, New York.
[repeated line] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, brother
But when Josh Holloway forgot his lines at his audition and ended up kicking a chair and cursing loudly in frustration, the writers liked his style and decided to write Sawyer as more of a Southern, darker drifter. Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon,” which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans get married, the wife never takes her husband’s last name. In Korea, it’s not even legal to marry someone with the same last name, except in rare circumstances.
Edited in Lost: The Journey (2005)
The strange opening credits were designed by J.J. Abrams on his laptop in black and white as a tribute to the Twilight Zone. Lost is absolutely, hands down, one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. What can be said about this amazing show that hasn’t already been said.
I will never understand why people give a low rating to a show just because the ending wasn’t great
If you read any list of the best shows of all time, I guarantee Lost will be on that list. One thing I recommend is do nothing else while watching this show, give it your full attention because there are so many twists, tidbits, and little details that you will miss if you are not paying attention. Now, the ending wasn’t as good as people expected, but that doesn’t take away from the 6 seasons and 120 episodes that came before it. Lost ran for 6 years and had over 120 hours of television that you enjoyed, a few bad moments at the end doesn’t take away from all the time you loved.
I didn’t even think the ending was that bad, it just could have been better
Of course it would be better if the ending was as good as the show, but when a show is as good as Lost, it’s hard to please all the fans. But as a whole, Lost is one of the best TV shows ever and is a must-see.
