Unfortunately, the filmmaker wanted to tell us a story and got the idea from W. The story is only 5 pages long, so the “story” is told to us in a way that resembles a joke told by someone with a speech impediment.

It’s deadly boring and some people ran away from the movie after the first half hour and I wish I could follow suit. Between the narrative, which is supposed to take place in 1917 and is shot in black and white, we get a lot of modern color stuff.
