Sure it was weird, but then again, the author is very poetic about bringing out curses and such… or tragic love, human nature not in the first episode, I was intrigued then and I hope you let the alchemy/magic happen like I did.

It all comes back to history and memory and how uncertain and tangled they are and what we make of them. I felt the need to read the novel again, right now!
