[via telepathy] Eugene Allerton: I’m not weird
Story
In 1950s Mexico City, a forty-something American ex-pat lives a lonely life in the midst of a small American community. However, the arrival of a young student causes him to finally make a meaningful connection with someone. Daniel Craig was ultimately the one who convinced Luca Guadagnino to play Drew Starkey after watching audition tapes with Guadagnino and telling him "That's the guy" upon seeing Starkey.
I’m not weird
Lee… William Lee: I know. Eugene Allerton: I’m disembodied.
This film is definitely one of the best films ever made
Features Orpheus (1950). It’s a steady-paced story, told not mostly in words, but in cinematic means of expression. The perfect blend of spectacular gay love and classical music bring to life the creations of the human imagination in both a realistic and poetic way.
I recommend this movie to anyone
Director Luca Guadagnino is one of the greatest queer directors of the 21st century. I hope he wins many Oscars for this masterpiece in 2025. I can assure you that once you have seen it, you will want to watch it again immediately because it is brilliant.
